California Community Bank has added an additional layer of security when utilizing our on-line banking services. This upgrade provides even greater levels of protection against fraudulent attacks such as phishing, spoofing, key logging and identify theft. All users will be led through a series of challenge questions and answers as well as the assignment of an Authentication Image and the selection of an Authentication Pass Phrase. The image and pass phrase will appear during each subsequent log-in to verify that you are connected to the California Community Bank website before you are asked to enter your password. The final level of security is the authentication of your computer. California Community Bank has the ability to recognize the computer or computers from which you usually log on. If our system detects a log-in from an unfamiliar computer or a computer that you have designated as a public computer, it will automatically present you with one of the challenge questions that were previously selected. GETTING STARTED IS EASY! 1.) Log-in using your Access ID. 2.) Enter your Password and click Submit 3.) Enter and verify your e-mail address. 4.) An Authentication Image from the image library will be displayed. 5.) Create an Authentication Pass Phrase. 6.) Select your challenge questions and provide your answers. 7.) Determine and select the appropriate option as to whether or not you wish to register the computer you are using. (Note: You should only register personal computers that you frequently use and are not available for public use. Selecting "Do Not Register It" provides an extra security level and will require you to answer one of the challenge questions each time you log-in from an unregistered computer.) 8.) Select SUBMIT The next time you log onto our on-line banking service, California Community Bank will recognize you and display the image and personal description you selected. If we don't recognize the computer you are using to log in, we will ask you to answer one of the security questions you previously created. After completion of the steps above, if you don't see the image you selected, exit the site immediately and notify the bank.
