Escondido, CA – June 9, 2009 – California Community Bank (CABK.OB), today announced that prominent San Diego banker; Michael Scogin has joined the Bank as Executive Vice President, Commercial Lending and Manager at its Miramar Road Office.  Scogin is a veteran commercial lender and has over 23 years of banking experience in the San Diego and North County markets.

Scogin started his career with Bank of America and in 1988 joined San Diego Trust as Vice President – Corporate Banking.   After the bank’s sale; he served from 1995 to 2000 as Chief Financial Officer for Douglas E. Barnhart, Inc.  Most recently he was the Regional Vice Present for the North County Region of the Business Services Group of North Island Credit Union.
